I watched this movie 1 of the few times it came on TCM years ago. I haven't forgotten it, though haven't seen it since. It was not only cute, but very funny! (At least, the 1st time you see it!) I was in stitches over the firecrackers and the corset!

This movie is hilarious. I love the corset dance/dream sequence and how she's proudly wearing a corset while everyone else is fully dressed. I want to know what teenager hasn't had such over the top "dream sequences" of their own.
Jane Powell and Debbie Reynolds do such a fantastic job in this movie.
I wonder when this movie will come out on DVD. Too many of my favorites still aren't on DVD!
"Two Weeks With Love" is included on DVD in the box set "Classic Musicals From The Dream Factory Volume 3" along with "Hit The Deck", "Deep In My Heart", "Kismet", "Nancy Goes To Rio", "Broadway Melody Of 1936", "Broadway Melody Of 1938", "Born To Dance", and "Lady Be Good".
