GOVERNMENT AID IN MAKING THE FILM.

I wonder if anybody knows if the British government assisted the filmmakers with the making of this film?

I think they must have done due to the number of soldiers and police used in the production.

The opening credits list various government departments which assisted with production.

Thanks,missed that at the start of the film.
Given the fact that the film had official support it just confirms to me that the film is not really a anti atomic weapons story.
