The Ending Seemed Rushed
I've seen this movie 2-3 times previously and am watching it on TCM as I type this.
I felt the movie was very entertaining, perhaps an 8 out of 10, for all but the last 5 minutes. Then, like so many other movies, it seemed as though all involved felt the need to rush the movie to a conclusion. Time constraints? Budget constraints? Who knows. In reality, most movies are not shot in chronological order and the ending may very well have been the first part that was shot.
Whatever it was, the last 5 minutes ruined a great movie and rendered it an OK film.
