I see a lot of negative remarks about the clothes Lana wore in this film and also about her hair. I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous in all her outfits and loved her hair. I saw her the night before in Imitation of Life and again loved her clothes and hair. I guess I just love Lana Turner.

Hairstyles in the late 1950's and into the 50's were quite matronly-looking. Not even beauties like Lana, Ava or Liz looked great with those crimped little do's. And the clothes! All those boxy suits and long hemlines.
Lana's performance in this is quite good, but she does look a tad worn for the role of a model. Eh, she was always fun to watch. A great, glam star!
I've seen Green Dolphin Street, it came out right after Postman, which was in the 40s.
