The Interstellar of it's time
So may 50's sci-fi's just made up whatever pulp trash they wanted (to some degree of charm) but it's great to see this level of technicality in a film and what makes it more amazing is that it was one of the first 50's sci-fi's.
I think this film is the Interstellar of it's time due to both attempting to be scientifically accurate and besides actually being a really good film it really should be more famous than it is.
By the way, I'm not trying to start a discussion on how good or bad you think Interstellar is, there's plenty of fighting going on on the Interstellar board, I'm just pointing out the production similarities.
