Once a Blabbermouth, always a Blabbermouth...

Anybody notice Ralph actually commited the same offense as Alice's mother? When Norton came down ready to go to "Murder Strikes Out", why did Ralph give the ending of the play away? He could have easily said: "My mother-in-law the Blabbermouth just gave away the ending of the play. But I won't spoil it for you Norton. Take these two tickets so you and Trixie can go; make sure you don't run into the Blabbermouth on your way there."

Very good yes I also noticed the same, gotta presume Ralph was so steamed,he couldn't help himself. Ralph would never turn down tickets to a Broadway play.

Agreed. Those three minutes were sheer agony for Ralph. How many times did he check the alarm clock? The whole thing with the Blabbermouth running into Chester Barnes..."he's so tall and SLIM! Guess a man doesn't have to get fat if he doesn't want to..."

Gleason was amazing with all kinds of emotions; the pent up hostility while he was looking at that clock was a gem in that scene.
