Does Alice Know Deep Inside That Ralph is 100% Right About Her Mother?
Alice is usually pretty level-headed and smart on this show, so I suppose it's just a matter of family ties making you blind to the faults of your mother, but let's be real here: Ralph is 100% correct in his low opinion of his mother-in-law.
She's a nightmare! I'm pretty sure that she's always the first one to make a rude remark, and in A Matter of Record she insults Ralph numerous times while he's saying nothing, and then proceeds to intentionally ruin the end of a play for him when he's just about to go see it. It's always bothered me that Alice got mad at Ralph when he justifiably exploded at her and threw her out of the apartment.
She's right up there with the mother-in-law in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World in the competition for worst one ever.

Whistling Wolf should get more camera time . . . he’s like a young Pacino!
