netflix instant watch
I just finished watching this movie for about the 10th time. Netflix has it on their group of movies you can watch instantly online. I hope this increases it's exposure to a newer audience.
It makes me so angry when folks my age, 43, and younger do not appreciate exactly the sacrifice of so many men we can never repay but could at least better honor.
This movie so captures the spirit of that debt. If this movie does not get you in the very depth of who you are then I greatly suspect that I do not want to know you.
Especially in an age when the world is again about to insist on the madness of world war, this nation had better get that spirit back or the entire world is going to enter a dark age the likes of which the world has not seen for untold centuries.
I think I read the other day that more books are translated into Spanish every year than have EVER been translated into Arabic.
In his tape the other day the coward Bin Laden again insists the USA convert to Islam, nothing short or he will continue to murder us. A simple message do as I say, convert or die. Iran seems essentially bent on the same demand. The Saudis spend BILLIONS on financing this message. Please do not ignore this message, it is simple to understand and it is repeated by many mouths of an implaccable enemy. I don't believe the west hates Islam, the nations who follow its message, or any of our brothers. However, if the nations of Islam or its adherents keep insisting on the message and actions of conversion or murder and war, it is eventually going to result in brutal tribal war.
Whether we want it or not, world war is coming.
This movie speaks to the heart of giving one's last full measure and why.
Let us all pray this message from this movie need only be used to properly honor our debt to the greatest generation and not to help us prepare to bomb foreign cities to stop a modern fascist theocratic madness.
