I have been challenged to find the John Wayne movie that has the line "Good luck, Company B" or "Good luck, B Company"..... I guessed "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" and was told it was not correct. I have bee advised on dukewayne.com that "Yellow Ribbon" IS the answer. Can anyone help me here?? I am not a big Western fan, thus the challenge!! Thanks very much!
Thanks for the detailed answer. I hope this is right, and that my challenger looks silly.... or maybe he was setting me up to get the RIGHT answer?? In any case, you are great and thanks again!!
Yes, he says it right before they charge in Fort Apache after he has been relieved of command and sent to the rear. B Troop in Fort Apache, C Troop in She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.
Negative, Ghostrider!!! Fort Apache is the movie, yes. BUT, the line by Captain Kirby York is "Good Luck B Troop!!!" Not C Troop. C Troop was commanded by Captain Collingwood the guy who had FINALLY gotten orders to West Point.
