Believe this was shown on TV more times than any other movie
Before BBC 2 started with its colour service in the UK in the 1960s every day for weeks She Wore A Yellow Ribbon was shown as a colour test for what if I remember correctly was as many as 4-5 times a day continuously.
I watched it today on BBC and looks like the colour has degraded as it was not as clear and sharp as I remember but still a very good film with a great performance by John Wayne.
My dad who died in 1989 age 78 as he got older looked very much like John Wayne enough alike to be brothers and this is movie my dad looked most like him especially as my dad in his 60s grew a similar looking moustache.
