Oliver Jewellery or The Loan Arranger Commercial (sued by DC Comics)

One of his famous commercials he claims he's the Loan Arranger

Okay being from Toronto these videos are legendary. I worked for a while and came up with a collection of not just his commercials, but also parodies, news segments and imitators.

Oliver Jewelers or Oliver Jewelery is run by Russell Oliver out of a store in Toronto. The commercials are famous in Canada and in Toronto, well your not Torontonian if you haven't seen these. He is crazy and he wants your freaking gold and silver and jewelery and he "will give you cash".

Famously he got sued by DC Comics because his "Cashman" character was "damaging" to the Superman Franchise.

In one of Russell's ads, he shrieks, "Even teeth!" He offers to enter your family mausoleum or dig up your grandfather and pull dead peoples' fillings out with pliers.

I recall an ad for BUTTERFINGER candy where someone who sounded like Shirley Bassey sang Butterfinger to the music of Goldfinger with a pretty female in a spy outfit by a lighthouse.

Only saw it once EON must have had it pulled fast.
Cubby also had a fit when FALLGUY had a 2nd ep where they were in a 007 film when on the end credits they played "Nobody does it Better"
