shouldn't "The Red Shoes" be in the Top 250? It has an 8.1 rating, which should put it ahead of many on that list. Does anyone know why it isn't?

I agree! I'm a major fan, but sadly my grasp of German is too slight for me to be able to comment authoritatively on most of his career, although I am trying to collect a number of programmes from his career in German-language films.
