C'mon, MGM - bring this to Blu-ray

Love this movie, but the DVD is really crap - even my Oppo player can't do much with it. Sure wish MGM would release this on Blu-ray. I can only guess the film prints aren't in shape and they don't want to spend the $$$ to do a restoration. But if Fox can invest the money to restore the 1930 The Big Trail, MGM can surely rescue Red River.

I've got the new French release! It's a thing of beauty!

The Eureka Blu-ray is also excellent. It's short on features, but the picture quality is stellar and the booklet is informative. It's also nice to have the Lux radio play.
