I am surprised that no one caught this before

I was watching this great movie the other day and saw a goof. At the beginning of the film, Dunston is shown leaving the wagon train and going south. He heads to the left which is the right direction for going south. The wagon train heads on which would have them going to the right rear of Dunston. Later, when Dunston stops at the Red River, he looks back and toward the LEFT and sees the fire of the wagon train. He should have looked back and saw the fire to the back and right.

I went to the goofs section, but I was surprised that no one noticed it before me. I submitted it to the goofs section.

It's not listed as a goof because it's not a goof.

When his back is to the wagon train, it's going in the direction of his right side. When he turns around, and his front is facing where he came from, the direction is now to his left. Which is the way he correctly looked.

Right when his back is to it, left when his front is toward it.

Not a goof.
