Great, fun movie
Just watched it on YouTube (although part 5 of 10 was missing, so I had to look for the script online).
I was a bit leery of the quirky narration at first, but grew to like it, and I thought it paid off wonderfully at the end when Garzah is in the same frame as the cop who, as the narrator puts it, asks "Have you seen a man looks like this?" I think the only problem might be when the narrator pops up again after long stretches where he's absent, so it ends up as jarring.
The chase was a nice release from all the procedural stuff before it. Garzah falling to his death was a bit anti-climactic, but I'd hoped that if it were going to happen anyway, he end up in the water like his old partner did (at his hands).
And the Muldoon character was a great change from the usual wise, hard-nosed, old-timer cops you see in movies. He gave the movie a nice charm.
