Police station exterior?

Interesting police procedural, and I absolutely loved Barry Fitzgerald in it. But here's my question: is the building shown as the police station in this movie the same building used as the precinct station in "NYPD Blue"? Sure looks like it to me.

No, it isn't. The station house used in NYPD Blue is the 9th Precinct in the East Village, even thouh they referred to it as the "One-Five" (the fictional 15th Precinct) The one in the Naked City is the 10th Precinct located at 230 W. 20th Street in the Chelsea District of Manhattan. And they referred to it as the 10th Precinct as well, instead of a made up command number.

Thanks for the reply. I think they do look similar, though. Maybe they were built about the same time, or had the same architect or contractor? I don't know - maybe it's just me. But it makes sense that "Naked City" would use the correct precinct number, since they were really wanting to focus on the city.

Thanks again.
