Cameos
Of the many uncredited cameos in this movie, I was lucky enough not to blink when a few of my favorite character actors briefly appeared: Paul Ford, Kathleen Freeman, James Gregory, Arthur O'Connell and Molly Picon.

shareWeegee also made a cameo in it. As Barry Fitzgerald and Don Taylor pull up to the murdered girl's apartment at 52 West 83rd St and exit the patrol car, Weegee runs out of the crowd and snaps a quick photo with his large format camera, then runs out of the scene. He is also rumored to be the street sweeper in the final shot(his back). Also David Opatoshu, who was so good years later in Exodus.
shareLet's not forget John Randolph and John Marley.
