Howard Duff in this movie......

Howard Duff was one of the best looking men in the movies. I thought he played his role in this movie very well. I was a big fan of his. Don Taylor looking good in this film also. I lived in the city at this time and two of my neighbors had bit parts in the film. With so many people coming and going in the film, it was hard to find them, but I saw one, Mrs. Dale. Very exciting!!

What scene is your neighbor in?

Where Alfonso Bedoya is looking through his huge button collection.

Howard Duff played his role "Frank Niles" excellent and so natural as a lier with Barry Fitzgerald in his role Det. Lt. Dan Muldoon.

Seeing it again this morning on TCM and kept looking for my neighbors in their extra parts. Mr. Dale was the guy interviewed in the boxing ring and Mrs. Dale was a passerby with a kerchief on her head. Mr. Dale was also in On The Waterfront. All this stuff brings back memories of the good old days for me !

Duff also played Dustin Hoffman's attorney in Kramer vs Kramer

I think some theater posters listed Duff as "radio's Sam Spade," because he starred in the very popular show.

"May I bone your kipper, Mademoiselle?"
