Blandings makes 15K a year.

He has an 18K mortgage on a 38K house.

So he put down over 50% down on the house!!!

Wow, financially smart guy!

I believe they said 6k mortgage actually

I suppose he had some equity in the NYC condo/apartment/house (whatever) to put down.
