If you like 'Pool of London' you'll like this

This is a good solid British 40s crime thriller similar to 'Pool of London' or 'The Blue Lamp'.
It also has a nice though somewhat unbelievable love story, and lots of location shots of 1940s London, rather unusual for an era when most films were studio-bound.
The propaganda over the need for wartime deserters to hand themselves in is a little heavy handed in places, but overall it's worth the watch.

I've just finished watching it, and yes you're right Cranmer, it's a good solid British 40's crime thriller with great location shots in and around London. I've also been checking out the before and after locations on Reelstreets, which you should check out yourself, it's quite fascinating.
