Very good

Just watched this for this first time, and have to say, I really enjoyed this film.
Ingrid Bergman gave a wonderful performance.

All the acting was really good. Some of the sets/backdrops were disappointing as you could see they were paintings, but then again, it was 1948, so I guess one could not be too critical.

I don't think I will return to this film as IMDB summary says, it's an abbreviated version, and apparently it's also based on a stage play.

Maybe watching a mini-series based on Joan, or around the times of Joan would be a good compliment to this film.

However, if you have never seen this before, and you like history, and you are a Christian, then give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
