Just before she heads off to get married he leans into the car and kiss her goodbye. Either the actor had the hots for the actress -or- Nath (or the director) has mommy issues. He doesn't linger long but he lingers.

As far as NATH lingering. It WAS a big goodbye... so if they were used to lip pecks then it's not a big deal.
But for me, I would have never have kissed my mother on the lips.

shareNo no and no. Some families kiss on the cheek, some lips, some both. Nobody has mommy issues, and the creators weren't trying to make a "statement" about sexual repression.
