As far as the story being told from the characters point of view, there were scenes in the classic "Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde" that use that aspect... but probably the film that comes to mind most for me is "Dark Passage" with Humphrey Bogart. If you recall, the first part of the film BEFORE he has his face changed is told from his point of view. There is also the Faye Dunaway film "Eyes of Laura Mars", which has her "seeing" the murders from his point of view psychically. I am not aware of any other film that tells the entire film from the lead characters point of view. Anyone else?
