When is the DVD coming out MGM/Warner?

I love this movie and have been checking periodically for the last couple years to see whether it's come out on DVD -- to no avail. Anybody have any idea if and when it's scheduled for release?

Hi there,

I´m interessted too. Im planing to build a short movie about this point of view.
It`s very important because this movie should be my audition stock for a art university.

reply

yes, actually it is coming out later this year in the film noir 3rd volume. this was confirmed on the digital bits website in the classic coming attraction database.

reply

It's also listed on Turner Classic Movies website as coming out on July 18th in the 3rd volume with the following movies: 'Border Incident', 'His Kind Of Woman', 'On Dangerous Ground' and 'The Racket'. The set will also house a seperate disc documentary on Film Noir called, 'Film Noir: Bringing Darkness To Light'. I can't wait!!!

i have read nothing about these being released individually, but i sure hope they do. no sense blowing $30 on another bad box set like Noir# 2

reply

How can a purchase be described as a "bad box set" when it contains "Born to Kill" and "The Narrow Margin," two of the best noirs ever?

reply

Born To Kill got on my nerves personally, but i did enjoy Narrow Margin quite a bit.

Great movie and available on DVD in the FILM-NOIR COLLECTION 3.

Yeah I found the Box Set at the DVD section of Barnes and Noble for $29.99. "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes."
