Did I miss something?
I enjoyed this movie but I failed to figure out the motives for any of the murders. Can anyone help me?
shareThe book definitely does a much better job explaining it. I recommend reading it, it's one of Chandler's best. They also changed it around so certain people are killed by someone different. The whole Grayson family story is really explained more as is a lot. Also Marlowe actually spends a good amount of time on the lake.
