The Secretary (Actress June Havoc) and this film's PREJUDICE
June Havoc did a fine job as the secretary...Not totally undated, but still a good performance.
I heard her do film commentary on my Gentlemans' Agreement DVD. She (then old) spoke against prejudice/antisemitism quite clearly.
Note that this film seems to equate "Politically Liberal" with "Less Prejudice".
Here, Havoc (said to be lifelong republican) disproved that silly view...as did General Eisenhower...(who ordered filming of Nazi Concentration Camps since he figured someone later would want to DENY the Holocaust).
Persons of any political view...who respect the human race...would be against antisemitism.
