Jewish identity strengthens antisemitism and antisemitism strengthens Jewish identity.

Yet today unfortunately Jewish identity (even atheist) is so strong (primarily due to Israel and the Holocaust) that the idea that Jews really exist only in religious sense is vehemently denied.

Yes, that statement that the Sam Jaffe character made was spot on.
As true today as when the film was made. Perhaps moreso.
