Dorothy McGuire (Kathy) and Jane Wyatt (Jane) played sisters. They both played the wife of actor Robert Young at various points in their careers; Dorothy McGuire in "Claudia", "Claudia and David" and "The Enchanted Cottage" and Jane Wyatt, of course, as Margaret Anderson in "Father Knows Best".

they look like they could be sisters.
I was surprised at how very small Jane Wyatt's part was-three very short scenes and maybe 8 lines. Perhaps, her part became smaller in the editing room.
