Will someone please tell me who this ends?

This was on TCM last night and as engrossed as I was, I still fell asleep and woke up with another movie on, so I missed probably half of it. Would someone please tell me how it ends? I fell asleep not long after Sam and the sister where married. Elisha Cook had moved in and Walter Slazak was still snooping around.

I'd recommend renting or buying it to rewatch it. A lot happens the 2nd half of the film. But I can give ya a short and sweet summary:

***SPOILERS***

Tierney knocks off Elisha bc he thinks he's sleeping with Claire. Then, later on, Claire calls the cops in a moment of weakness and Tierney kills her right before the cops kill him.

There's a little more to it than that but that's how it ends.
