Lawrence Tierney

I watched Reservoir dogs the other day and had to laugh, I never noticed Joe Cabot was played by Lawrence Tierney. Tarantino strikes again - but man, the guy has aged tough as, hasn't he? Good on you Larry.

The sad thing is that I have seen Resoervoir Dogs and do not even remeber Tierney. Perhaps he just wasn't that recognizable.

Perfect timing! You just saved me from a three hour tour of the SS Lurk. -Lorelai Gilmore

You got this right MFan. What's the definition of menace? Tierney. A great pic. Tierney and Trevor work miracles in the tight classic that should not be missed. Thank you Netflix.

my favorites are Harlow and Garbo. I guess I'm just an old fashion guy

He was a regular near the end of Hill Street Blues - big scary looking bald dude!

He'll always be Elaine Benes' severely intimidating father to me :).

Loved him as Elaine's dad on Seinfeld! I couldn't help but laugh so much the way he made Jerry and George sooooo nervous in that lobby sitting area. I also loved George's quick imitation of him when Elaine arrived to the lobby.

When I hear his name, I always think of this role: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi86IYe4LXI

He's hilarious! Who would've guessed?!
