Interesting question. The first four films you mention share a common plot line, in that they're all about men who accidentally succeed despite being too young, simple-minded, or uninformed to really understand the world around them or why they are excelling in it. I'm not sure how that relates to the Bishop's Wife, though, since it doesn't have any simple-minded characters. It's more of a story about people who have made poor decisions because they lacked the guidance to understand what it is they really want in life. I suppose that lack of understanding could apply to the characters in the other films as well, but that's a theme common to many, many films besides just these five.
