This really is one of the best Christmas movies! Like most of the old movies it's subtle, understated and classy... they don't make movies like that anymore. Most now shove things in your face and dumb everything down to 2 year old level. Stick with the classics, I say! I'm glad they switched Carey Grant and David Niven's roles though... David Niven as the angel would have been realy bizarre, and I'm not so sure Carey Grant could pull off being bitter!

I read recently that it was one of the best Christmas films ever made, so I wanted to see it and I have to agree. I absolutely loved it!!!
