"The Locket" will be shown on Turner Classic Movies on October 5, 2005 at 9 PM Pacific Time. Any info on a release of this film on DVD?
shareUnfortunately, I don't have any news about the release of a DVD, I am always moaning about the same thing. But thanks for the information about TCM. I have never seen this film. I enjoy the early films of Robert Mitchum, but they are few and far between. Thanks again.
shareThe print TCM showed a couple of months back was less than ideal, but better than nothing. I hope a better one can be found for a DVD release (assuming one ever happens). Really interesting movie!
shareJust watched this on TCM and "less than ideal" doesn't begin to describe it. I'm not usually one who notices the condition of a film but there were so many tears and white lines that it was painfully evident, even to me. This one will have to have a restoration before it gets a DVD release, I fear. Too bad, because I love this movie!
