Two 40's films centering on kleptomaniacs. Which one do you like better or enjoy more, and why?

I haven't seen Whirlpool but it's on my DVR. I may be back after I've seen it ad can compare the two.

The Locket is a better movie: Better production with richer sets, better direction and script. Both casts were very good. The script in Whirlpool was much less believable.
