Is it just me or did Mr. Potter get off very easily?

I felt other than George Bailey being wealthier than him he didn't seem to suffer any punishment or comeuppances for his greedy behavior.

I just watched it and thought it was hilarious seeing that!

Totally awesome! From Shatners perm to
Carvey as Jimmy Stewart as George Bailey going midevil on Potter.

Frank Capra said he got more comments on the non-punishment of Potter than any other aspect of the movie. Who my mom couldn't stand was the wheelchair pusher who saw everything and said nothing.

That is very interesting that Frank Capra mentioned that he'd gotten more comments on the non punishment of Potter than any other aspect of the movie, I do wish the wheelchair pusher would've said something about Potter.

The assistant would have been ignored in favor of Potter. Another life lesson in that money often has the scales of justice tipped heavily in its favor. That aside Potter probably has dirt on the assistant to keep him in line.

He was a crippled old man in a wheelchair, surrounded by suck-ups, unloved, and with probably only a handful of years to live. That's his comeuppance.

reply

I totally agree with you on that, I wouldn't like it if so many good people had a strong amount of disdain towards me.

Harry Potter? 🧙‍♂️

One's like that live to be 110.
