70th anniversary of "It's a Wonderful Life" - December 20th

How has it held up after 70 years?

Still a great Christmas classic even if it can be dated and sentimental.

I'd say it has held up very well. Yeah, there are moments here and there that may not have aged well but over all the movie has help up better than many movies less than half its age.

Watched it this afternoon at a cinema in Nottingham, Uk. The screening was sold out and the audience gave it a round of applause at the end (very rare in the U.K) The age of the audience ranged from 8-80.
