"Life" has a great message about measuring wealth by friends, not $


Also remarkable for a '40s movie, is Life's take on working class people having the right to a roof over their head and food on their table. This was 70 years ago!

Sadly, the more things change, the more they stay the same! 70 years later, the movie's themes are still issues...

It doesn't have to be an either/or proposition, but if it were, there's no question friends are more valuable than money. Potter was the poorest man in town.
