I wish they some of the other classics for prominent spots on the major networks, like the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol. Some of these great films are so hard to find on TV.

CBS would rather show "48 Hours" on Christmas Eve -- it seems like anymore the major networks go out their way to avoid showing Christmas-themed programming (and what little they show is usually fluff like "Christmas Light Fights" and such). share
and playing the same 4-5 movies over and over and over instead of giving airtime to a bigger variety. Monotony seems to be the tv trend these days. same with radio, billions of songs out there to choose from and they play the same 50 over and over.
