there's a point in the film where Bete's ears move as Belle is talking to him. He's looking off at something that catches his interest. Just halarious to me!!

shareumm, that wasn't actually supposed to be funny. the "ear motion" thing was a depiction of his internal struggle--the instinct to kill (the bestial side) vs his human (noble) side ... that's why the young deer caught his attention and he had to fight to focus his attention on belle.
shareNot sure what's so funny about an animal's ear movements. Perhaps if it looked terrible, but it looked realistic enough to me. They were probably all babies when Disney's version came out. They probably think the story is a Disney original.
