I heard in this movie, Belle's brother schemed with Avenant to kill the Beast. Avenant was turned into a beast by Diana's arrow for what he tried to do, but what became of Belle's brother? Does anyone know?

Although it's not spelled out, one can assume that Ludovic managed to get home after Avenant was killed. After all, he was honest about his character, stating: 'I'm a scoundrel, and proud of it, but I won't let my sister marry one!'

The movie leaves one hanging on this issue but given he was not hurt when Avenant was killed and the Prince states Belle's father and sisters will live with them (with the sisters now waiting on her it seems fair to presume the brother will also join the family in the new residence.

When I watched I assumed that he survived and was now the new owner of the beast castle, which really isnt a bad deal if you think about it. He acted like a D-Bag and ended up with a spacious, uncontested castle, a magic glove to transport you around, a very intelligent horse, and a room full of treasure.
If Avenant didnt die, I'm sure Belle's brother probably showed up to the castle at some point and shared in all the treasure and perks that Avenant suddenly gained.
