shareYes, in theater and film it was considered a challenge to play another race and do it well and convincingly. Like Shakespearean actors playing Otello. In opera they cast by voice and acting ability so you have singers of all races playing characters of other races. I thought Lee Cobb was excellent as the Kralahome. He had such gravitas.
