Tierney, Price, Technicolor...who can ask for more?

It was Gene Tierney at her best in my opinion, playing a maniacally evil woman.. Young Vincent Price is added incentive. And the lurid technicolor fit nicely.

I killed him for money and for a woman. I didn't get the money... and I didn't get the woman.

Right you are, pal. I had just watched Joan Crawford in Possessed in which she was a stepmother (though just a schizophrenic one, not a maniacally evil one) and had a brain **** thinking of the boy as her stepson, which of course he wasn't. Anywise, I corrected it.

Well I'm with you two-thirds of the way.
But I think Price is such a lousy, cut-rate actor.

Price is good in anything, but aside from that, there is a whole lot more to ask for, such as a script that isn't painfully by numbers, involved acting from other performers, etc...
