I thought she was real beautiful but her character of Ellen wasn't very nice.

I can't blame her for getting angry when a boatload of people show up while theyre on their honeymoon. She's not very gracious about it for sure, but she wasn't wrong to want her husband to herself for a bit. Why in hell would she want her mother there? And a very sweet and angelic Jeanne Crain to boot.

Just for a minute I felt sympathy her.

The unfortunate fact is most psychopaths tend to look beautiful or handsome, overriding red flags people would have otherwise received if they had not been infatuated with that person they should have avoided.
