I love movies from the 1940's. I'm in my fifties, and when I was a kid they played a lot of movies from this time period on TV. That began my appreciation of old movies. I can't believe I've never heard of this movie. It is just wonderful!

I'm in my 50s too, and I didn't see it til a couple of years ago on Turner Classic Movies. Yes, it is wonderful!

I found it last night when I was looking through Comcast's free on demand movies. I'm glad I did and look forward to seeing what other treasures appear there (I like on demand because I can't really sit through a two-hour movie without a lot of breaks).

I love old films, yet I'd never even heard of this one until a couple of months ago. I kept putting off watching it after I tivo'd it on TCM, but I watched it last night and I'm so glad I did! It's a beautiful movie.

Although I am a quite young classic film fan, I consider myself fairly well versed in the films from the 'Golden Age'. However, I had never seen this movie until last night. I can't believe I've missed it so long! So magical, I adored it.
