Was this entire movie filmed on a sound stage or was the house actually in Ct?
shareIt was filmed on a soundstage, not in Connecticut. The set was also used in 'Bringing Up Baby'. Some time back I found photos comparing the two but can't come across them at the moment.
shareThe house for Connecticut was on a Warner Bros soundstage in Burbank. The Baby house was an exterior facade on the RKO Encino ranch. Some links:
