During the dance in the town hall Barbara Stanwyck and Dennis Morgan when partnered during the reel kept laughing to the point where Barbara turned away from the camera to hid her laughter. It went on for about 10-15 seconds until the next cut when they were composed again. Looks like they had a good time together.
shareIf you look at it, Sidney Greenstreet is all over the place and even elbowed his dance partner in the face! :) It was such a funny scene that I had my husband come watch and he's the one who noticed the elbow! :D
I think I even saw Frank Capra ask someone to dance as Barbara and Dennis were walking out of the dance floor! Looked Frank Capra up and there is a profile shot of him on his photo list and I would be money it was him! :D
Yes they're completely cracking up during the lively dance scene; the detail really shows in the HD Blu-ray. The actor who plays the wooden fiancée is unexpectedly animated during this scene; he kind of breaks character.
