A recommendation or two, please...

At the risk of sounding superficial, though I can appreciate the value of movies like M and Scarlet Street, can't help feeling Ministry of Fear and Cloak and Dagger are better Lang movies for my time (just look at my username).

Would anyone mind dropping a few Lang titles that contain more action and excitement than was typical for the era?

Fritz Lang is among my favorite directors, here's a short list minus the titles you've already mentioned:
Manhunt (1941)
Hangmen Also Die (1943?)
Blue Gardenia
Big Heat (both 1953)
and among his more bizarre films, but eminently enjoyable personally, is The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1933).

Of course, there are many others; I hope you find a few of these to your taste.
Good hunting!
