C'mon, the woman was dropped dead gorgeous...and the camera close ups were unbelievable. Never cared for Paul Henreid and his style of working...The only reason he became a little well known at that time cause all the big male stars were not available...they were in the armed services. Peter Lorre had a small part unfortunately...but who paid attention to the plot with Hedy at her beauty best. Just watching her smoldering beauty is enough for the price of addmission

Yes, Hedy Lamarr was certainly beautiful. I disagree with your assessment of Paul Henreid however. I think he was a fine actor and not just a "B" because all the "stars" were not available. The man had a great sense of timing and his passion always shines through.

I agree on Henreid. I always find his characters intriguing.
