I was amazed to see it was made as far back as 1943. That record player looked quite modern.

I'll think it's a "modern" film and not from the early 40's. It's quite timeless and not dated like some movies.

shareI reckon that this could have been made anytime. The music is not 1940s at all. The man's clothes are contemporary with 1943 but then the 1980s New Romantics copied that style. I reckon its a timeless. And just the right running time for slowly sipping a cup of tea while you take in the weird images.
