How Did Pat Recognize Fry?

Near the end of the movie, Pat sees Fry on the ferry that goes to the Statue of Liberty. When they get to the top of the statue, she does her best to get him to stay inside Lady Liberty's head with her, so that the police can catch him. However, she'd never seen Fry before and there's no scene of Barry describing him to her. So, how did she recognize him?

If I remember it correctly they are all outside when Fry gets away in the cab. And Barry tells Pat to follow that cab with Fry in it. So she probably either saw him get in the cab or get out of the cab when they arrived at the statue.
